Attitudes Skills Attributes A strong work ethic – A willingness to work hard. Learning the most efficient way to complete tasks, and caring about your job. Communication skills – speaking clearly, writing concisely, expressing ideas in a constructive way, negotiation and the ability to debate, emails, letters and fax, etc. Confidence – Having the right skills and experience is essential, but confidence is the want to show them off, to let people know you can do it. Dependability and responsibility – Coming to work on time, being at work when they’re supposed to be, letting supervisors know if you’ll be late for any reason, etc. Leadership and management skills – Sometimes you may be called upon to lead a team, or lead your own company.
